Security International Core Area of Expertise

Security is a global sector with an enormous potential for expansion. It is also playing an increasingly important role in the Messe Frankfurt portfolio of events, as reflected by the continuous growth in the number of security trade fairs held. At present, Messe Frankfurt is represented by six security events in growth markets around the world. Each of these trade fairs is distinguished by a concept tailored specifically to the needs of the individual region.

Messe Frankfurt significantly increased its expertise in this field by taking over the Taiwanese a+s Group, a renowned fair and exhibition company and publisher specialising in security subjects, in 2009. The newly founded company, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media based in Taipei, is responsible for the strategic development of Messe Frankfurt’s activities in Asia, including the organisation of the Secutech trade fairs.

At present, the portfolio of events includes Intersec in Dubai and Intersec Buenos Aires, which is held every two years alternately with Seguriexpo Buenos Aires, as well as three trade fairs in Asia – Secutech in Taiwan, Secutech Vietnam, Secutech Thailand and Secutech India.
